They are a people of warriors and farmers who are also custodians of an ancient tradition that links earthly life to the spirit world.
One of the most distinctive aspects of their culture is the "Skeleton Dance," an ancient ritual in which warriors paint their bodies to resemble skeletal spirits. This ritual not only intimidates enemies but also symbolizes the connection between the living and the ancestors - a bridge between the visible and the invisible.

From 2003 to 2015, Delta produced fifteen collections in the Indigenous Peoples series. Each collection was dedicated to an indigenous group and their customs and traditions. This highly successful series resumed in 2024 with the Sentinelese collection, now followed by the Simbu collection.
The pen is available in three finishes: silver, yellow gold, and rose gold.
For all, cap and body are made of special resin, hand turned by solid bar, decorated in a tone-on-tone style with tribal designs of circles and spirals.
The barrel of the pen is encased in sterling silver armor that is rhodium-plated, or yellow gold-plated, or rose gold-plated. This one-piece armor is obtained by lost-wax casting and is then carefully finished by hand.
Its design imitates the rib cage of the human skeleton, with different front and back sides. Just as the indigenous Simbu people paint their bodies to show their skeletons, the Simbu pen is covered with a silver skeleton.
