Delta has produced the 96 series exclusively for Giardino Italiano, to celebrate its founding year (1996), which we are very proud of.
It is a limited edition of only 96 fountain pens, 32 pieces for each colour, inspired by the intense colours of a garden:
Amaryllis Red
Cornflower Blue
Tulip Black.
The 96 is a generous size, modelled on the Dolcevita Medium, but more elongated; the cap and body are made of pearly resin, with sterling silver and 24Kt gold plated finishes.
Filling system: internal piston with transparent ink window for inspection.
Nib: 14Kt gold, or golden steel.
Colours:
Amaryllis Red, a beautiful pearly burgundy-red: intense and luminous, but not blatant, gaining depth with the light and glowing with iridescent reflections for a regal, opulent effect;
Cornflower Blue,
deep but brilliant, with iridescent reflections that lighten it with azure;
Tulip Black, very elegant, black base with a pearly and speckled effect as the light changes.
The yellow gold-plated trims (clip and rings), contrast nicely with the silver of the central band, hamonising with the resin's deep red.
At the cap top, a golden disc reproduces Giardino Italiano's trademark: the 3 leaves/nib with the ink drop.
The sterling silver central ring reproduces in relief a decoration from the Greek-Roman period used for fresco borders in ancient Pompei; accompanied by a golden small ring.
The yellow gold plated clip ends with a rotating ball, for easy insertion in the pocket.
The Amaryllis Red and the Cornflower Blue arealready available.
The other colour (Tulip Black) will be available in a few days, but can already be ordered.
The Delta 96 is packaged in a dedicated box, with a red, blue or black ink bottle.
Limited Edition of 32 fountain pens. The first 5 numbers of each colour are reserved for those who book the Trio.
The Trio 96 includes the 3 fountain pens with the same serial number, each with its own box and ink bottle in the matching colour.
