Analysing a complex 1930s silhouette through 3D modelling, Montegrappa discovered a solution of extraordinary geometric elegance, far more elaborate than it appears at first glance.

From a complex 12-sided profile, a solution was developed that offers a vivid tactile experience and unexpected rolling resistance.
"Dodecagonal" is just one of the words that will flow easily when you feel the undulating, inviting grip of a rare 'modern classic'.
Undulating indeed, because the twelve faces of the body and cap are not flat, but alternating concave and convex, pleasant to the touch and safe to grip.

The famous Montegrappa chevron clip with its steel ruzzolino pivot - tested to withstand more than 20,000 actions - is also in satin-finished steel, as are all the trims and the small disc at the cap top with the famous Montegrappa ambigram.
