Visconti's deepest roots lie in the city which it proudly bears in its logo, Firenze.
When the Meyer Merry-go-Round Association Onlus in Florence asked Visconti to make a donation in support of the Meyer Childrens Hospital's Cancer Department (an excellence in Tuscany that is known and appreciated throughout Europe), Visconti gladly accepted.
The Merry-go-round Meyer pen is truly expressive, inspired by the children's first colored scribbles on walls and on sheets of paper.
Visconti created it like an ideal "first pen" in a child's life.
The pen is made in a natural light resin and vegetal components which, mixed together, make always different results, giving the impression to be hand painted one by one; because no pen is equal to another.
Metal trims are palladium plated.
Filling system by cartridge/converter, steel nib, F-M-B
The central ring is decored with the Merry-go-round children, logo of the charity association; as well as the metal disc at the cap top.
The nice package includes a "first pen certificate" to be filled in by the person who will give the pen to a child as his/her "first pen".
