Stipula Trevi

The Fontana di Trevi

Built between 1732 and 1762, it's one of the largest and most famous fountains in Rome.

Trevi fountain in Rome

Legend says that anyone throwing a coin over his shoulder while standing with his back to the fountain, will see Rome again; and it's estimated that over 3,000 euro coins are everyday tossed into the Trevi Fountain by those hoping for the Fountain's "blessing", guaranteeing a return trip.
The Trevi Fountain is known also as the place Anita Ekberg and Marcello Mastroianni bathed in Fellini's movie "La Dolce Vita", in '50s.
