Rhodium and celluloid for the pen devoted to one of the oldest Milan streets

Via Meravigli

Renzetti 1909 - Craftmasters in Milano - has called its new writing instruments collection with its city's historical streets names.

Via Meravigli starts from Piazza Cordusio and goes forward Corso Magenta, going through the old city heart, the still preserved old downtown, with its ancient pavings and the period small houses.
Nowadays it holds the most exclusive fashion shops and many hystorical mansions that hold banks or public corporations.

Via Meravigli collection is realized with celluloid acetate, in two beautiful colours: pearly red and tortoise brown.
Although being not a limited edition, only 1478 pieces have been made in red and only 1504 in tortoise, due to the difficulty in material manufacturing.

The innovative line joins with the classic ogival shape; it's quite smallish, so it's better to keep the cap posted during writing.
Automatic movement for the ballpoint, steel nib for the fountain pen (Medium only).
Cartridge filling system.

Rhodium is a noble metal,
much rarer and more precious than silver.
It's also much harder, it doesn't oxidize,
it doesn't change over time,
and it's more brightly white.
It's specially used by jewellers for the white gold alloy.

Corso Magenta pens are rhodiun plated over a special brass alloy, decorated with the Guilloché technique which the Renzetti factory is famous for, since its foundation.

Discontinued and sold out since years, until Renzetti found out the last pieces in stock, which we're offering at super-special price.
