The Risorgimento (The Resurgence) was the political and social movement that agglomerated different states of the Italian peninsula into the single state of Italy in the 19th century.
On March 17, 1861, Vittorio Emanuele II was proclaimed King of Italy.

Marlen honours this important historical period in the same year of the celebrations for the 150 years of Unity of Italy, with a limited edition devoted to the Risorgimento.
