Chinese lacquer

Fountain pen and rollerball in luxury Chinese black lacquer, with palladium finishing.

The Chinese laquer is a living, unpredictable material; its preparation, tinting and application require a know-how transmitted by generations of master laquerers.
Fascinating by its sheen and depth that no syntetic varnish can equal, its silky feel is pearly-like, it's exceptionally handwearing and highly resistant to knocks, scuffs and scratches, as well as to fire; it's indestructible.

The pens

They are available either in Chinese laquer, with palladium trims;

or with laquered barrel and palladium cap, diamond-head decorated:

Referring to the famous "cling" of Dupont lighters, the distinct, reassuring sound of the cap clicking on to the pen, associated to the gentleness of the movement, is a strong sign of recognition.

The collection includes fountain pen with cartridge/converter filling system, and 18 Kt white gold nib, Fine or Medium; and capped rollerball.
Each piece is engraved with its identification number on the side of the clip.
