When the Portuguese discoverers arrived for the first time in Brazil, in 1500, the found a widely inhabitated coastland with indigenous people living in a paradise of natural riches. They called them Indios.
The first Delta's 2006 Indigenous People pen is Indios, for celebrating one of the world's largest ethnic groups.
The pens
Model 1K fountain pen, with silver trim and cartridge/converter filling system.

Cap and body are made in black resin, hand turned from solid bar, with top and grip in special layered brown resin.
Model 1KS fountain pen, with vermeil trim (gold plated silver) and lateral lever filling system.

Its barrel is made in layered brown resin, with edges in black resin, and black cap with brown top.
Both them are Limited Edition, made in 1500 pieces,

as well as the rollerball, easily convertible in ballpoint.

The Celebration version is made - in 40 pieces only - with pearly emerald green resin, with 18 kt gold trim and a diamont put in the clip.
 The cap top is enriched by a precious disk (made in silver, vermeil or gold) portraying a parrot, that is the Amazon symbol.
The special clip recalls the Kayabi shape, a wood weapon used by ancient Indios tribes, and is decorated with geometric designs, typical of their culture.
