Year 2005 is the 400th anniversary of the first edition of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra's work, published in 1605: "EL INGENIOSO HIDALGO DON QUIJOTE DE LA MANCHA" (the clever gentleman Don Chisciotte de La Mancia).

In collaboration with Castilla La Mancha region, Spanish Institutions and the famous Sanz bookshop in Albacete, Spain, the Don Quijote collection is born in Delta laboratories, made in special resin, hand turned from solid bar, with sterling silver trims.

the 1KS version, in green resin, has been made in 605 pieces, and has piston filling system

The 1K version, in red resin, made in 1605 pieces (like the roller) is cartridge/converter filled.

The green pen barrel (1KS version) is covered with a low-relief etched sterling silver sheet, that represents Don Quijote and his adventures.
The Celebration version (40 pieces worldwide), wears the 18 Kt gold cover sheet.

The clip is lance shaped, made in burnished sterling silver, in both the version, 1K and 1KS; in the celebration version it's gold plated.

The cap top is covered by the "palancana" (typical hat) in rhodiated metal or gold plated, depending of the version.
