Nomadic people, of Tartar extractions, steppe rulers, great cavalrymen and merciless warriors, Cossacks were the result of the joining of hundreds of different tribes and races; a wonderful mix of Russian and Ukrainian traditions.

The clip represents a Cossack sabre, (shashka), it's in burnished silver or in vermeil, depending of the model.
At the top of the cap, that symbolizes the typical Cossak fur hat, is a burnished silver disc, high-refielf etched with a Cossack decoration.
