Marbled resin and low-relief silver decorations |
 |
Diego Velasquez, considered to be the maximum exponent of the Spanish baroque style, was the official painter of Philip IV, favored portrait-painter of the real family and the court.
Los Borrachos (the Drunk), was painted in 1629; some drunks are paying mock homage to a half-naked ivy-crowned young man seated on a wine barrel, with deftly handled lights and shades.
Delta produced a collection of only 200 pieces worldwide.

The 1KS model is realized in black resin, with vermeil trims (gold plated sterling silver).
The filling system is the old classic "button filler", mainly used in early XX Century.

The central ring, in sterling silver or vermeil depending on the versions, is decored with a stilized reproduction of "Los Borrachos" painting.
